According to the Chancellor, Nature is a 'blocker' to growth. This isn’t true. Experts, Communities, scientific evidence and even Government advisers all agree a healthy environment is crucial for economic growth.
Including nature in development from the start is an easy way to create sustainable, healthy homes for everyone. This boosts productive, happy communities and neighbourhoods. Please remind your MP about that. You can tell them why you think the promises made to everyone should be kept, too.

Amendments have been refused. At this stage removing Part 3 of the Bill is the only way Ministers can repair trust with nature groups and the public. It is also the best way the Government can meet its legal, policy and moral commitments.
Wild places need to be thriving again if public health is going to improve and if the economy is going to grow. Our shared love of nature is held dear by generations of residents, visitors and friends - from the greenest street trees to the high hedges of the countryside, from the blue waters of our coast to the Park duck ponds, from the air outside our windows to the tips of our mountains.
